Because when an order is returned (RTO or customer return), Meesho sends the physical product back to you. Your inventory is restored, so the cost price is not a real loss. Only the return shipping charge is your actual loss.
No. The Meesho Payment Settlement CSV contains everything — order ID, SKU, status, settlement, and all deductions. The only thing Meesho doesn't know is your purchase cost, which you enter once per SKU in the app.
