Information We Collect

Account Information — When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed with bcrypt, never stored in plain text). Optionally, you can add your company name, GST number, PAN number, and mobile number in your profile.

Payment & Order Data — When you upload your Meesho CSV files, we store order IDs, SKUs, settlement amounts, dates, and deduction details. This data is tied to your account and used exclusively to generate your profit reports.

• → Meesho order and payment CSV data you upload
• → Browser type, device type, IP address (for security)
• → Feature usage and error logs

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect solely to operate and improve ReconPro. Specifically:

• → To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• → To process your uploaded CSVs and generate profit reconciliation reports
• → To calculate per-order and per-SKU profit and loss figures
• → To send you important account notifications (password resets, plan changes)
• → To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• → To improve the product based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on MongoDB Atlas servers hosted in India. We use the following security measures:

• → Passwords hashed using bcryptjs with salt rounds
• → All API requests authenticated via signed JWT tokens
• → HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• → Database access restricted by IP allowlist and role-based access
• → Regular automated backups

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data in the following limited circumstances:

• →Service Providers — Trusted third parties who help us operate the service (e.g. hosting, email delivery). They are bound by confidentiality agreements.
• →Legal Requirements — If required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.
• →Business Transfer — In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the new entity under the same privacy protections.

Your Meesho Data

ReconPro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meesho in any way. When you upload a Meesho CSV file:

• → The file is parsed server-side and the data is stored in your private account
• → Raw CSV files are not stored on disk after processing
• → Your order and payment data is only accessible by you (scoped by your user ID)
• → No data is ever sent back to Meesho or any marketplace

Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal, functional cookies only:

• →Authentication token — Stored in localStorage to keep you logged in (JWT, 7-day expiry)
• →Preference cookies — To remember UI preferences like date range filters

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or analytics platforms that share data with advertisers.

Your Rights

Under applicable Indian privacy laws (IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023), you have the right to:

• →Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• →Correction — Update incorrect or incomplete information via your Settings page
• →Deletion — Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
• →Portability — Export your reconciliation data at any time
• →Objection — Object to specific uses of your data

Data Retention

• →Free plan — Order and payment data retained for 1 month
• →Pro plan — Data retained for 12 months
• →Account deletion — All data permanently deleted within 30 days of your request
• →Inactive accounts — Accounts inactive for 24+ months may be purged after notice

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email for material changes.

Continued use of ReconPro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
