What Flipkart Deducts Before You Get Paid

Your Flipkart settlement is never the selling price. Before the money reaches you, Flipkart deducts a set of fees, and then charges GST on those fees. This Flipkart profit calculator lays each one out so you can see exactly where the money goes:

The figures pre-filled in the calculator are illustrative. Pull the exact commission, fee bands and shipping slabs for your category from the rate card in your Seller Hub, type them in, and the result is your real profit per order.

How to Use the Calculator

If the profit per order is red, the price is too low for this fee structure. Raise the price, move the product into a cheaper weight slab, or cut returns with better listings and sizing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Flipkart seller profit calculated?

Settlement = selling price − commission − fixed fee − collection fee − shipping fee − GST on those fees. Profit = settlement − product cost − packaging. For the real average, multiply by the delivered share of orders and subtract the loss on returned orders. The calculator does all of this from your inputs.

What fees does Flipkart deduct from an order?

The main deductions are a category-wise commission (referral fee), a fixed or closing fee that depends on the order value band, a collection or payment fee on the order value, and a shipping fee that depends on weight and zone. GST is charged on all of these fees. The exact figures are in the rate card in your Flipkart Seller Hub.

Why are the pre-filled fees only illustrative?

Flipkart's fees differ by category, price band, weight slab and shipping zone, and the rate card changes from time to time. The defaults show the structure of the calculation; replace them with the numbers from your own rate card to get your exact profit.

How do returns change my Flipkart profit?

A returned order earns nothing but still costs you reverse shipping and handling, so every return cancels the profit of several delivered orders. Enter your return rate and the loss per return and the calculator blends them into a true profit per order placed.

Is this Flipkart calculator free?

Yes, completely free with no signup. If you also sell on Meesho, the Meesho profit calculator uses the same method with Meesho deductions.
